likable as in the most needed word. why not love?

most of the time people avoid the topic, even in concerts.masyado na daw korny pag usapan ang love, career na lang!

pero i dont think na mas masaya pag usapan ang career...lalo kung call center trabaho mo...forgive me hehehe...

kaya lang naman nagiging pangit ang love kapag inaabuso ng mga highschool. lalo yung mga batang kung makaemote parang end of the world na pag may heartache,kung alam lang nila na wala pa yan...oo nga pala hindi ko inaadvise ang bf-gf relationship sa mga highschool. simple lang, kasi wala pa kayong sariling pera. period.(wahahaha) kahit may pera ka siguradong pera ng magulang mo yan! parang ang pangit ng payo ko...change....well kasi sa highschool hangat hindi mo alam ang economics, mabuti pang lubayan mo muna ang ligaw. ang ligaw naman eh hindi yan love. hindi love ang hindi kaya panindigan.

pero sabi nga nila hindi love kapag na abuso, kapag pangit, kapag may kulang, kapag may mali, kapag may nasasaktan.

how my pet mirmo taught me how to live

How my cat Mirmo taught me how to live:

I have been through a lot this past months, I finally decided to change the direction of my life and leave the past behind.  The funny thing is that it took my cat Mirmo to make me realize that I can do it.

How?

By embracing the silence and seeing the good and the marvelous each day. I have often observed Mirmo staring in the window of my apartment, basking in the sun. I just stopped and stare at him, sitting there peacefully; cats seem to be so in control of their situation.

Cats are zen masters…that is what I have realized. They exude this inner peace within them, and even if this peace gets disturbed at time due to competition and the mating season, cats and other animals always seen to find the will to let go of the anger.

After a huge quarrel with neighbor cats, Mirmo can easily let go of it and enjoy his meal.

You see, I have learned so many things about what I need to do about my life through Mirmo’s eyes.

To never fear-because I am in control, to never doubt that I would have everything that I need to survive. With cats there is no resistance, no complaining. Like Mirmo I have let go of anger and to enjoy every morsel, every bite of the food that is in front of me.

Cats are not burdened with over thinking- animals are connected to energy and the abundance of it. They understand nature, they trust…they accept life and are one.

You see Mirmo knows how to live in the present time. I don’t think cats ever remember the past or harbor resentments. Neither do they plan for the future- they just exist.

 They just live, sleep and they never forget to play and enjoy.

Mirmo makes me smile every day, seeing Mirmo makes me believe in myself again. You see we are all interconnected and by embracing the silence together with him as we stare at the window I have found peace and courage to face life again---truly alive.

jane austen, jane eyre. renaissance daughters, sense and sensibility

Its hard to love jane austen and charlotte bronte when none of my friends seem to think that reading sense and sensibility as well as wuthering heights is worth it. I am a filipina, so it is very hard to find a friend who reads the same book as me, i cannot even convince my sister to love her books. but oh well, i dont mind being the only one in the group who is engrossed and in love with classical women's writing. sure a friend of mine told me that classical books written by jane is one sided and is too boring- but i have fun in it, sure there are times when the plot of the story is too long, jane austen can talk about the scenario over and over again and some of the characters are predictable..but i call this my london soap opera.
There were a lot of time when i wished i lived in that era. i just love the way they dressed. well the part where they did not comment much on weight and the woman who has flesh on her cheeks was considered beautiful. in fact the way the english women conducted their life was odd, there were a lot of unnecessary rules- like the part where women would be the one who would give men the money when they are wed. Men are actually hunting for women who have fortune in the past, while women would hunt for titles>( even if they did not have any money) just as long as they are considered as dukes and earls. it was really funny when there real characteristics come out, they dress so pretty and sophisticated, they take considerable time in planning what to wear,,,but deep inside them,..we are no different. the modern women is no different at all. we all just want to find love.well we still do a lot of twist and turns with our hair and at times we want to imitate the so called fashionable, but like jane austen's characters there are times when we let go of that and just run like the wind.
however, the heroine of jane austen's stories are strong in mind, it shows taste, real taste, it shows how to properly conduct oneself and still get the one thing you like the most...anyway...i just wrote this blog to exclaim my utter love for this kind of life. Well , i will never get to live in that era, wear the dress, sit in the carriage, smell the flowers or have my Mr. Darcy announce the proposal to society---but i get to live in it for several days while reading the book......oh classical!

greenwich session branch ( why it is the worst fast food branch in baguio)

I decided to eat at greenwich session branch( kasi naman gutom na ako) and I am craving for lasagna. ( I was really hoping to get my mood up-comfort food) kaso to my dismay.
1st error: Impolite, boring and discourteous cashier ( wow umpisa pa lang) I think her name was mheg.She was very grumpy, did not look me in the eye, did not ask what i want to order ( I had to tell it myself) she looks very bored with her job ( my god it did not help that she did not even smile at all) did not, as in wala man lang greeting na hello mam, what is your order? i literally had to get her attention (wala naman siyang ginagawa) In fact I thought she was love sick or something so I forgave her for that and ordered.

Error #2 6:30 and their branch is out of stock: Out of stock ng combo meals and worse they dont even know if meron pa o wala ng maioofer sa customer. The first thing I noticed was that she did not apologize and tell me na wala na palang combo b, c and d, hayop combo A na lang ang meron-eh ano na lang tinda nila kanin? but since merong lasagna (feeling garfield kasi ako nung time na yun) i continued my order.
and mind you the lasagna was expensive, medium size P61 peso ( ako din kasi i was crazy to go there, i just wanted a good lasagna)
but i should have settled for other branches like jollibee, atleast my 60 peso would go somewhere na may drinks kesa lasagna lang.

error #3 30 miuntes of waiting for my food to get to me
Wow , seriously it should only take 15 minutes or less...what the heck all of the customers are starting to get grumpy. They had disorganized staff, no hair nets on the staff either.  ANd when the food got to me...

error #4 i ordered for a combo set, Hawaiian pizza, with spaghetti, chicken and rice ( as stated in my receipt)
what i received ( rice na parang 2 kutsara lang ang laman, very small piece of chicken and wala pang 3 tinidor na spaghetti and worse...walang pizza????/
 I had to remind the waiter that the pizza was missing....the waiter (kasi mag isa lang siya) did not know what a combo meal means? this was plain insulting
so yung patience ko nawala na...


what i did? I called the waiter and asked for the manager.

Error #5 they do not have any manager in that place? wala? meaning waiters would be the one to face you just in case you got mad. and i told them what a  lousy service they have, sinabi ko that they should respect their jobs, and if they dont like it, they might as well quit.
We eat there using our hard earned money---and we also deserve the best as customers.


error #6, the 5 errors that i have stated was done to my boyfriends family 6 months ago (shocking) the father of my boyfriend got mad, he chose to get a refund and then they left the place.

terrible customer service. I dont know why? I seriously think that this franchise will close soon. After they have annoyed almost all of greenwich customers.
frankly the food in there was good enough-but customers would not put up with this kind of service if they can go to better places like Chowking and Jollibee...
